Story 232
The grind
Remember, it's okay to feel overwhelmed and stressed, and it's important to take care of yourself during these times.
Tip 233
Limit the amount of time that you have to make a decision so that you're not over-analyzing things.
Tip 234
Instead of trying to multi-task, focus on completing one project. This will lower your stress.
Story 235
Clarifying complex instructions
How painful is it when you're starting a challenging work assignment, and you can't even understand the instructions for the assignment?
Story 236
Gotta do it
As adults with ADHD, we all face tasks that we don't necessarily want to do but need to in order to be well-rounded and successful. It's easy to do the things we enjoy, but what about the rest? How can we hold ourselves accountable and get the job done?
Tip 237
Avoid taking on too many commitments. For every new commitment you take, finish or let go of a previous one.
Tip 238
Just do it! Procrastination heavily affects people with ADHD, but remember: one day of action is worth more than 20 days of planning and theory.
Tip 239
Create themes for the areas that you store things in. Then, keep anything related to that one theme in that one place.
